The Department of Housing recognises that its customers and tenants come from a range of backgrounds. All customers are entitled to a professional interpreter to assist them when interacting with the Department of Housing.
Department of Housing offices in the metropolitan area offer regular interpreting times as follows:
Mirrabooka Office – Wednesday, 9.30am to 11.30am
Mirrabooka – Monday, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
Cannington – Tuesday 12.00noon to 2.00pm
Mirrabooka – Monday, 10.00am to12.00noon
Mirrabooka – Tuesday, 10.00am to12.00noon
Victoria Park – Friday, 10.00am to 12.00noon.
Alternatively, you can utilise the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) by phone 13 14 15. You can also go into a Department of Housing office to arrange for an interpreter to assist you.
