The Department of Housing’s Graduate Development Program includes a twelve-month long rotational program that enables graduates to complete four three-month long rotations within a selection of business units and divisions.
In addition a second-year leadership program may be offered.
Graduates will take on the role of a Graduate Project Officer and have the opportunity to undertake research and project activities. This experience leads to an attainment of corporate knowledge and professional expertise to support and enhance business activities.
The rotations are tailored and designed to hone the graduates’ existing skills and knowledge, at the same time providing opportunities to develop valuable skills and experience. Prior to the commencement of a new rotation, graduates are allocated a project brief that includes details about the tasks they will be working on, in addition to information about what is expected of the graduates.
