Keralup

Keralup (formerly known as Amarillo) is a unique, 4000 ha, government-owned property 10 km north-east of Mandurah. In the rapidly growing Southern Metro/Peel region, it is connected to Perth-Bunbury Highway at Paganoni Road, with a direct link to the future Karnup railway station and potential Tonkin Highway extension.

Approximately 1000 ha will be set aside for the Peel Regional Park (Serpentine River), Dirk Brook Community Park, local open space and conservation areas.

The State Government, through the Department of Housing and Works, engaged a multi-disciplinary team of consultants led by Taylor Burrell Barnett to formulate a Masterplan for Keralup, analysing the task and issues that would deliver a ‘state of the art’ new town.
