The Housing Authority (Housing) invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions from Developers and/or Consortia to collaborate in the delivery of an affordable land and housing development in the well-located suburb of Treeby (formerly Banjup).

The 20 hectare landholding at Lot 1 Ghostgum Avenue presents an attractive opportunity for this sector to work together with Housing to deliver a well-connected and liveable community.

The Treeby Project (the Project) seeks to deliver on five key objectives: Affordability, Diversity, Environmental Sustainability, Liveability and Economic Returns.

The successful Development Proponent will have the rare opportunity to deliver a sizable development in a location only two kilometres from Cockburn Central and 20km to Perth CBD.

The Project seeks to add to the diversity of land and housing choices available, with a strong emphasis on affordable product for smaller households, including the delivery of small lots, group and multiple dwellings sites and the facilitation of a range of housing options.

Housing is undertaking a two-stage procurement process to identify a suitable Development Proponent.
